He married in 1892 at Wallabadah NSW to Sarah Jane Warboys, who was born I the locality. Lancelot and Sarah lived at 'Sunnyside' and ran the property for his mother, Elizabeth, after the death of his father, Henry, in 1893. The property came into Lancelot's possession after his mother's death in 1922. Lancelot died in 1944 aged 78 years and Sarah died in 1951 aged 82 years and both are buried in the cemetery at Wallabadah NSW. Their son Allan Sanderson, then worked the property and following Allen, his son Thomas. 'Sunnyside' has only recently passed out of the family's hands in 1991 when the property was sold.
