John Sanderson, born 5 September 1857 in Morpeth NSW; died 6 January 1858 in Morpeth NSW.
John was obviously named after his father's brother who died in 1856 aged 171/2. Baby John only lived till he was nearly four months old. A poignant verse is still visible on the headstone in Morpeth cemetery today - 'As Jesus bore our humble lot; Mankind from sin to free; In mercy said forbid them not; Let children come to me'.
