
Frances Jane (Fanny) Sanderson was born 18 November 1869 in Morpeth NSW, and died 13 September 1936 in Quirindi. She married Robert McLean 1892 in C/e Morpeth NSW, son of Ewen McLean and Ann Birkby. He was born 24 September 1864 in Wallabadah NSW, and died 8 August 1951.
Frances was the last child to be born at Morpeth NSW and was about one year old when the family moved to Wallabadah. She was mostly known as Fanny. Fanny married from her parents home 'Sunnyside' in an Anglican ceremony when she was 23 years old to Robert McLean They had two surviving children, a daughter and a son and lost a daughter not long after birth. Fanny and Robert lived at Hornsby for a short time in the early part of their marriage and then moved back to Quirindi NSW. Bob worked as a labourer on various properties in the Wallabadah, Quirindi and Blackville areas of NSW. He later owned an apiary in Quirindi NSW. It was here in her own home at Quirindi NSW that Fanny suffered a heart attack and died when she was 67 years of age. Bob lived to 87 years of age and died in 1951. Both Fanny and Robert are buried in the cemetery at Wallabadah NSW.
